Carla gets up from brunch with Sam when the alarm attached to her Ham radio sounds. She hears a strange voice coming over the Russian Number Station The Buzzer. She writes down what she hears and called her friend Colin, a fellow number station enthusiast, to help her translate it. They think that the voices were talking about a generator, or oscillator, and perhaps a location called Apparatnaya.
